The pictures tell a great story with lots of history behind them. With the big railroads focused on main line operations, there can't be too many places left like this!

And as someone else already commented, CN 4771 jumped out at me immediately as it was the power on CN 589 the one and only time I caught it on the Renfrew Sub, that was back in September 2015.trains1982https://www.blogger.com/profile/09975879323425410280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3680264279342137192.post-63520459420137348792017-01-12T10:18:29.310-05:002017-01-12T10:18:29.310-05:00What day did your brother take the photos of that ...What day did your brother take the photos of that train? C.Flat - Man, good eye! I didn't notice that 4771 was previously assigned to Ottawa. Good catch. That unit sure does get around.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07917230984518214781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3680264279342137192.post-63284282995167700582017-01-11T19:33:13.546-05:002017-01-11T19:33:13.546-05:00Couldn't help but notice 4771 was one you saw ...Couldn't help but notice 4771 was one you saw at the Ottawa yard in 2015
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wQY_G_6skZQ/Ve3owLmPCcI/AAAAAAAAC84/zhPqCQ94fE0/s640/Sept7-2015%2B%25282%2529.JPGC.Flathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12969453209007934618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3680264279342137192.post-75720213435737034482017-01-07T23:57:17.853-05:002017-01-07T23:57:17.853-05:00A very nice tour of a lightly used spur.
